Grigol Robakidze University
In March of 2010 GeoEduConsulting Foundation has provided expertise support in 3 cycle academic degree programs’ curricula development and syllabi composition to Grigol Robakidze University. Within the scope of expertise support GeoEduConsulting team conducted training for Grigol Robakidze University administrative and academic staff in three cycle and one-stage certified medical doctor academic degree programs’ development and syllabi composition, created academic degree program curricula frame and structure for all three cycles, and academic disciplines’ syllabi framework. GeoEduConsulting experts were providing individual consulting curricula development process. The project also included the degree program development management restructuring recommendations.
Marketing and Media Communications Institute
GeoEduConsulting Foundation provided expertise support in academic degree programs’ and curriculum improvement and development to Marketing and Media Communications Educational University. First project started in October 2009. The aim of GeoEduConsulting expertise support was to reorganize existed academic degree programs according to Georgian and international legal regulations and requirements and to compose student oriented academic degree programs, also to provide trainings for Marketing and Media Communication Educational University academic and administrative staff for increasing awareness in ongoing international and local higher educational processes, and composition of Syllabi. Experts of GeoEduConsulting developed four bachelor degree academic programs, and four master degree academic programs:
- Business administration – Tourism – bachelor and master level academic programs;
- Business administration – Finance, Banking and Insurance – bachelor and master level academic programs;
- Journalism and Media - bachelor and master level academic programs;
- Law - bachelor and master level academic programs.
In April 2010 Marketing and Media Communications Educational University was in reorganizing process according to the new local requirements, which are represented in National Qualifications Framework (expected to be adopted in closest future). In this process, GeoEduConsulting was cooperating with Educational University – the mission has been adjusted, and according to the mission, the academic programs’ curricula have been changed and recommendations for management process changes have been elaborated. GeoEduConsulting team was providing support in mission adjustment, developed new curricula structure and has conducted the training to academic and administrative staff in curricula composing and development, as well as management structuring.
Ilia Chavchavadze Tbilisi Teaching University
In fall 2009 GeoEduConsulting Foundation provided academic degree curricula development expertise support to Ilia Chavchavadze Tbilisi Educational University. Expertise support included creation and development of academic degree programs according to the Georgian accreditation national centre standarts. Team of GeoEduConsulting’s experts assessed and analyzed the University’s existing programs and developed effective and competitive academic degree programs according to the Georgian legal requirements and international regulations in frames of Bologna Process. Experts developed nine Bachelor degree programs, five – master degree programs and 1 one-cycle academic degree program in certified dentistry.
Experts of GeoEduConsulting also analyzed University’s academic and informational resources and academic process and provided the University with the consultations regarding improvement of abovementioned issues.
