Technical Assistance Project in new business and strategic development
Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia
In Spring 2010, GEC's experts provided strategic consulting services to Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia through TA project in new business and strategic development funded by World Learning/FORECAST, USAID
The main goals of the project were:
- To identify and evaluate advantages/benefits and disadvantages/costs of the Georgian market, and potentials for interest of a US university establishing a presence in the country;
- To understand and articulate the commitments necessary on the part of the GoG to increase the attractiveness of Georgia as a investment opportunity for US universities;
- Contingent upon the recommendations formulated through project objectives, to develop an investment attraction and marketing plan that will attract US universities to establish a branch campus in Georgia;
- To assist the MoES in articulating the proposed investment initiative for presentation to US universities.
